Wet Weather

Billabong Zoo is open 7 days a week and is set up for wet weather as well as good weather. Many of our exhibits provide wet weather protection for groups and we have large undercover areas plus a large internal school’s room that we can use in extreme weather. We advise students to bring wet weather gear and warm clothing in the colder months. Refer to ‘what to bring’.

What to bring

A School Excursion to Billabong Zoo provides great memories and lots of photo opportunities. Here’s a list of what you should bring:

  • Camera, phone and video.
  • Water bottle.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Wet weather gear.
  • Warm clothing in the colder months.

Personal belongings: we recommend students and teachers keep their belongings with them at all times.
